Embrace the softer side

This style is all about softness: Think comfort, pale colors, velvet and linen. Start simple with a muted base, and combine with pillows and different materials in softer colors, and soft shapes. Use trendy shades of pinks and yellows. It doesn’t have to be expensive or complicated to get this look… it can and should be fun and simple! It’s as easy as using what you have, and adding in some new elements like table lamps and vases to create a harmonious atmosphere.

Combine the light with the dark

Dare to be personal and create a home that feels like you. Start with neutral base, such as blond furniture, then show off your personality with a few bold pillows and accessories with mixed patterns in black and white. Combine other organic shapes and ceramic accents in lighter stains. A great way of showing who you are is to create a still-life display of your dearest possessions. Grouping together different everyday objects in various shapes and sizes can create an unexpected display.
