Having a place for everything definitely makes it easier to keep things tidy in your child’s room. Good storage can also help make it fun for them to organise their toys and nick-nacks all by themselves – even more so if you let them decide where all their things should go.
6. Pass it on
Overrun with toys but don’t want to throw them away? Want to help your child make their own decisions about what they keep? Add a basket to their room for belongings they have grown out of. It will help keep stuff down and get them in the habit of giving their things a second life with someone else. Simple!
