After studying at Konstfack and Konsthögskolan, Göta Trägårdh continued as a fashion designer before co-founding Beckmans School in 1939, where she also taught. As a freelance designer, she created hundreds of patterns. One of these was MAJSOL, which appeared on bedspreads and matching blinds in our 1971 catalogue.
