Together with ROPE, an organisation committed to social entrepreneurship, we’ve created the handwoven MÄVINN placemats. Dyed cotton threads have been woven together with banana fibres that are otherwise often discarded after a harvest. The result: a geometric pattern where the splendor of colour coexists with a natural warmth – and each one is entirely unique! This way, we not only create lovely items for your home, but also livelihoods for skilled artisans in rural India.
