"I wanted IKEA PS 2026 stool to be height adjustable, so it could fit different body types and needs. I also wanted a strong, bold look, inspired by the clamps and clever mechanical solutions you see in workshops. The design is simple – just a solid birch top and a bottom held together by a metal bracket. While the idea is straightforward, getting the sturdy construction just right took a bit of trial and error.”
