IKEA is proactively recalling certain VARMFRONT power banks.

IKEA urges all customers who own a VARMFRONT power bank 10 400 mAh (model number E2038) with date stamp 2313, 2316, 2318 or 2319 (23 indicates the year of manufacture while 13 the week of manufacture, for example), or a VARMFRONT power bank 5 200 mAh (model number E2037) with date stamp 2318, 2319 or 2322, to immediately stop using it and contact IKEA for a replacement product, or a full refund.

Customer safety is IKEA's first priority, that's why we proactively recall the VARMFRONT power bank due to a fire safety risk. IKEA products are risk assessed and thoroughly tested to make sure that they can withstand the tough test of everyday life at home, and that they comply with applicable requirements and regulation on all markets where IKEA operates.

Despite this, it has come to our attention that certain VARMFRONT power banks may pose a fire safety risk, due to a manufacturing error. This error is isolated to units with the before-mentioned date-stamps. Therefore, these VARMFRONT power banks are being recalled. Customers who own such a product should immediately stop using it and contact IKEA for a replacement product, or a full refund.

VARMFRONT power banks with other date stamps are not affected by this recall.

VARMFRONT power banks with affected date stamps can be returned to any IKEA store for a replacement product, or a full refund. Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required.

IKEA is recalling BLÅVINGAD fishing game multicolour due to potential choking hazard

IKEA urges all customers who own BLÅVINGAD fishing game multicolour to stop using it and to contact IKEA for a full refund.

 Safety is a top priority for IKEA and therefore we are taking precautionary measures and recalling BLÅVINGAD fishing game multicolour, due to a potential choking hazard. IKEA develops its products using a rigorous risk assessment and testing program, to make sure that the products live up to all applicable laws and standards on the markets where they are sold.

 Despite of this it has come to our attention that small rivets on the toy can come loose, which results in a potential choking hazard, especially for smaller children. Therefore, BLÅVINGAD fishing game multicolour is being recalled.

BLÅVINGAD fishing game multicolour can be returned to any IKEA store for a full refund. Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required.

IKEA is recalling ODGER swivel chair in the anthracite color with date stamps before and including 2221 due to fall and injury hazards

IKEA urges all customers who owns ODGER swivel chair in the anthracite color with date stamps before and including 2221 to stop using it and to contact IKEA for a full refund.

Customer safety is always the starting point for IKEA. Therefore, IKEA is recalling ODGER swivel chair in the anthracite color with date stamps before and including 2221 (22 stands for the year, and 21 stands for the week the product was produced) as there is a risk that the star base leg of the chairs may break and pose fall and injury hazards for the user.

IKEA recalls METALLISK 0.4 litre espresso maker

IKEA proceeds to a preventive recall of METALLISK 0.4 litre espresso maker with stainless steel safety valve and production dates (code) 2040 and 2204.

IKEA urges all consumers who have purchased a METALLISK 0.4 litre espresso maker for hob with stainless steel safety valve to stop using it and contact IKEA for a full refund.

At IKEA, the safety and quality of the products we offer is our number one priority. Due to the potential risk of an explosion during its use, we are recalling the METALLISK 0.4 litre espresso maker for hob (in silver or grey). The hazard arose after a change was made to the material and construction of the coffee maker’s stainless steel safety valve. The recall concerns only products with production codes 2040 and 2204.

IKEA is recalling SYLT JORDGUBB strawberry jam 400 g organic due to risk of plastic pieces in the product

IKEA urges all customers who have bought SYLT JORDGUBB strawberry jam 400 g organic with best before date 2023-03-01 to contact IKEA for a full refund, due to risk of plastic pieces in the product.

The safety and quality of the food we offer is our number one priority. We want to offer our customers products they can trust, that are produced in a responsible way, without making any compromises on food safety and quality.

Despite this it has come to our attention that plastic pieces may have contaminated certain jars of SYLT JORDGUBB strawberry jam 400 g organic with best before date 2023-03-01. The plastic pieces came from broken trays used when picking the strawberries. Therefore, products with these best before dates are being recalled.

SYLT JORDGUBB strawberry jam 400 g organic with best before date 2023-03-01 can be returned to any IKEA store for a full refund. Proof of purchase (receipt) is not required.
