What is guaranteed?
The extent of the guarantee given for each product is described alongside each product. See below more information for the terms and conditions of each product’s guarantee.
Duration of guarantee
Each guarantee lasts for the number of years stated next to each product, and varies according to the kind of the product. The guarantee is valid from the day of purchase and covers the areas controlled by the Republic of Greece.
Conditions
Τhe Guarantee applies from the purchase date and with the condition the purchase took place at IKEA Greece.
What will IKEA do to correct the problem?
IKEA will examine if the product is covered by the guarantee. If the product, or part of it, is defective, we will ensure its repair. If necessary, we will replace the defective item. In case the product is no longer part of the IKEA product series, we will replace it with a similar product.
Terms of guarantee
Τhe Guarantee applies from the purchase date and with the condition the purchase took place at IKEA Greece. Proof of purchase is necessary for the purchase date identification. Guarantee does not cover damages caused by bad assembling, mistreat or bad storage, dirt, scratches or other types of accidents. Guarantee does not cover natural wear, the use of innappropriate methods or wrong cleaning products. The guarantees do not apply if products have been placed outdoors or in a humid environment or if the products have been used for non-domestic purposes (unless otherwise stated) and products that have been hacked. Care instructions
To be able to rely on this guarantee you need to follow the specific care instructions for every product. You can find these instructions at IKEA stores, at the IKEA Pick Up Points or at www.IKEA.gr.
General legal rights
This guarantee gives you specific legal rights. It does not, in any way, affect the rights given to you by law. The consumer’s rights are cumulative in regard to the guarantee’s rights.
