INGREDIENTS
FOR THE TARTAR SAUCE
- Parsley
- 40g capers
- 1 big pickled gherkin
- 200g mayonnaise
FOR THE SANDO SANDWICH
- Milk bread slices or thickly-sliced square bread
- HAVSSMAK breaded fish bites
- Some rocket
- ENSTAMMIG potato crisps with sour cream
STEP BY STEP
FOR THE TARTAR SAUCE
- Chop the parsley, capers and gherkin into small pieces. Add them to a bowl with the mayonnaise and mix together.
- Add some pepper, lemon juice and gherkin brine for that extra kick of flavour.
FOR THE HAVSSMAK BREADED FISH BITES
- Add some oil to the frying pan, heat and pan fry the HAVSSMAK breaded fish bites from both sides.
- Once golden brown, remove from hot oil and drain on a paper towel or cooling rack.
- You may season the HAVSSMAK breaded fish bites at this point, just be mindful of not overdoing it.
SERVING
- Take a bread slice. Spread the tartar sauce and add the rocket and HAVSSMAK breaded fish bites. Squeeze some lemon on the top.
- Add a handful of ENSTAMMIG potato crisps with sour cream and top with the second slice.
- Cut in halves vertically and serve with some lemon and crisps.
