The more renewable and recyclable materials we use to make new products, the better for the environment. That’s why PINGLA boxes are made of 100% recycled paper, yet sturdy enough to hold books, files or CDs (remember those?).

Paperboard is a thick and durable material that often comprises of several layers of paper and has many different uses. At IKEA we use paperboard in everything from packaging and sturdy storage boxes to games and other children's products. We strive for using recycled paper in our paperboard and the production is completely free from harmful substances.
